Dr. Andrew Bock
Advisor
Dr. Bock brings over 15 years of experience in statistics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to the Proxati team. He has worked for and advised startup and multinational companies, provided strategic direction to executive leadership regarding AI initiatives, overseen project lifecycles ensuring delivery of high quality solutions in production, and directly managed cross-functional data science and engineering teams.
He has a PhD from the University of Washington in Behavioral Neuroscience and currently resides in Southern California.
Dr. Curren Katz

Dr. Katz is an industry leading technology and AI executive, with a track record of driving innovation and transformation in the healthcare, life sciences, and technology sectors. Dr. Katz has been recognized as one of the Top 15 International AI Executives Revolutionizing Industries and an IBM Top 40 Women Leaders in AI Globally.
Curren led efforts across J&J to innovate digital, regulatory and payer approaches, serving as the J&J representative for the Digital Medicine Society. Prior, Curren led enterprise Data Science for Highmark Health.
Curren received her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from Humboldt-Universität of Berlin, master’s degree from Harvard University, and bachelor’s from NYU.
Dr. Ofer Hermoni

Dr. Hermoni co-founded and advised LF AI & Data Foundation, where he served as Chairman of the Technical Advisory Council and Governing Board Member. Ofer also worked as a Member of the Board of Advisors for apprentAI.
Ofer has provided guidance and expert advice to numerous entrepreneurs in areas such as Product Development, GTM Strategies, Intellectual Property, AI, Business Development, Fundraising, Open Source, and Team Building.
He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Information Systems Engineering and his MSC in Information Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
Dr. James Lei
Advisor
Prof. Lei worked at Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies, Panasonic Research, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He was the President of New Jersey Chinese Computer Professionals Society, the Director of Chinese Association of Science and Technology, and Beijing Overseas Scientific Advisory Board. He was the Co-founder of Guangzhou International High-Tech Incubation Centre.
Dr Lei has more than 100 publications in journals, conferences, and patent applications. His research has won several international recognition, such as the 2011 CES Innovations Award, 2008 Taiwan Excellence Award, and 2007 IBM/Microsoft Consensus Award.
He obtained Bachelor’s degree from Beijing University, and PhD degree from Brown University.
